K.A. Young

K.A. Young is an award nominated paranormal, fantasy and contemporary romance author that lives with her family in the South. She began writing because her mind was swimming with incredible stories that were begging to be told. Her love for reading began as a small child when she realized that a good book was an instant escape to a mystical land that could be reached anytime and from anyplace.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Ms. young has created quite the story of soul mates, the actual meaning. You identify with the main character quickly. You feel her pain, heartbreak, devastation, happiness and the feelings she has for her soul mate. Their so intense you can’t help but fall right into this story with just her feelings alone.

I really liked the main character Caroline and the old gypsies stuborn woman.
I did like her husband Phillip a little but never really got comfortable with him. I knew from the beginning their was something about him being shallow, a man who can’t be alone. Plus he was older then her, liek 10 years, usually with a huge age difference they just want a pretty woman by their side because of their own insecurities.

Debbie I couldn’t stand. I knew she wanted him right away.  Husband stealers are just not my thing, I despise them and how Caroline just forgave her is beyond me even if she was in love with her true soul mate and Debbie really was destines to be with Phillip. She’s still a husband thieving bitch.

I think Phillip was a coward and even his intentions toward Caroline were out of guilt not love. I don’t think he knew what love meant. Like I said a insecure old man. Who Caroline thought was the greatest until she woke from a comma to find her entire house remolded to suit another woman’s needs and tastes.

What feels like hours to Caroline ends up being years. The best years she was actually spending with her soul mate. Which still didn’t give Phillip the right to go off with another woman and change their house. she wasn’t dead for God’s sake. He could have waited. That just made me mad.

And poor Caroline after her near mental break down, her sleepless night with dreams of her true eternal love , thinking herself crazy, and finally coming to terms with everything and knew it to be true after the coma and waking up was strong and did what she had to do because in her heart and soul she knew it was right. She had to be with Thaddeus who risk his own life to make sure Caroline and him could be together. Which h really did not seem to turn out well since he defied the elders when he did the spell in another life with Caroline. He has to pay.  Luckily Caroline is smart and thinks her way through this and Phillip insisting apon tagging along still thinking she is crazy comes to find she is not, she is actually very old and has been returned to this earth to find her soul mate to start their lives. too bad nothing is that simple. but yes you will have to read to find out what happens.

I totally loved Caroline, her best friend and Thaddeus. even though he did the stupid things he did . The best thing ever in actuality.. I was heart broken for both of them when I thought he was gone forever but Caroline not giving up made the story  so worth all the sadness I felt. In the end it was pure happiness.
a try lovely read.  I recommend it to anyone, if you like romance, believe in true love, soul mates, you will love this book. If you just want a good romance book its for you too. Read this you will not be disappointed.
